"Hey, don't you have to work?"

I'm started awake by Laura's voice and lift my head off the pillow momentarily before flopping back down. "Huh?"

"Aren't you late for work?"

"No, I, uh..." I turn on my back to find her sitting up next to me. "No, I called in and they didn't need me."

"Oh." She rubs her eyes and looks around the room until she spots the clock. "It's after ten. I've got to go."

"What?"

"I need to go."

Wrapping my arm around her back, I lay my head on her thigh and gaze up to her face. "Last night was… it was amazing."

"It was fun, yeah."

I flash a sexy grin. "I think you called it wonderful last night."

"I did. I did. And it was, but I've really got to go."

"No, stay. I'll, uh, do a little more of what I did to you last night, then take you to breakfast."

"I really can't. I need to get home."

"Oh, okay."

She's looking down at me wearing an annoyed expression. "Can you please get up? I'm blocked in."

"Sure." Pulling up from her, I sit up and lean my back against the wall. She pulls her legs up to her chest and scoots down and off the bed. Standing before me, her fully naked body is now on display for the first time. I'm tilting my head drinking in her tone legs and shapely ass. "Wow, you are gorgeous."

"Thanks." She picks up her panties and pulls them on.

I watch her, captivated, as she puts on the rest of her clothes. When she's done, I say, "I'd like to see you later."

"Oh, that's sweet, but I can't."

"Really?" I ask, shocked. "I thought we had a great time and—"

"I'm seeing someone," she blurts out.

"Really, I didn’t know you were. Is it serious?"

"It was. We're sorta broken up at the moment, but I'm really confused right now about everything." Running her fingers through her hair, she turns to look at me with her lip quivering a little. "I..."

"What?"

"No, it's nothing."

"Are you okay?"

She smiles as she makes her way to sit next to me on the bed. "Last night was pretty amazing."

"I know, right. I am so attracted to you." I look into her eyes. "Words can't describe how attracted to you I am."

"I like you too. I do," she says before looking away to the floor.

"Then see me tonight."

She sighs and glances my way. "Maybe, I… Just call me later."

Turning to face me, she brings her lips to mine. We kiss, but only briefly, before she stands and walks to the dresser. She writes on a piece of paper and turns back to me. "I left my number, but I really have to go."

"Okay. Bye."

She disappears around the corner. After I hear her open and close the door, I flop down on the bed, pull the covers over me and sigh.
